Kofi Burbridge, keys/flute for Tedeschi Trucks Band and member of Big Ol’ Nasty GetDown, took home his second consecutive Grammy award this week. Kofi has been on the mend from cyatic nerve damage but is looking forward to more gigs after another month of rest in North Carolina with his family.

Not far from Kofi, Asheville NC’s Skidoo23, kid-hop artist took home his first Grammy for his work in positive hip hop for young people. He won the Children’s Music category. Asheville reveres Skidoo for his altruistic mission, his artistic poster promotions, and his positive messages in music.

Congrats to both the guys!!!
